They were also in PUSSYCAT TRASH and MILKY WIMPSHAKE, but this doesn't sound anything like those bands. Pure aggression, with a minimalist edge found in most early 80's bands like WIRE and GANG OF FOUR. How can a band be both minimalist and complex at the same time? They manage it, mixing the 80's minimalism with a 90's sort of complexity. Rachel's vocals are fierce and devastating. Total power. Nowadays it seems like everyone sounds like RED MONKEY. Weird.
