TMU 027 LYNC
"Remembering the Fireballs" LP/CD

LYNC possessed a special quality not found in bands today. They seemed naive and innocent on the surface, but underneath a raw, emotional monster was trying to escape. They were the forerunners in a now thriving genre called the dreaded "emo." They aren't pop songs, but they are catchy as hell, and quite sad; they aren't hardcore, although they are kinda sloppy. This will make you feel happy and sad at the same time. See why they changed so many of our lives. Contains their 7" recordings and early, unreleased tracks all remixed. Members have gone on to play in LOVE AS LAUGHTER, 764-HERO, BECK, BUILT TO SPIILL. MODEST MOUSE "borrowed" their sound from LYNC, by the way.

A split release with K records.
