"The Devil's Pleasures" 12"/CD
When THE VSS abruptly imploded in 1997, the band members quickly regrouped to form SLAVES as a three-piece. SLAVES is a more melodic, song-oriented band than THE VSS, emphasizing tension and drone sounds. "The Devil's Pleasures" is at time hypnotic and glassy, and other times sharp blasts of tense vibrance. Recorded with the assistance of Tim Green, these six songs are the follow up to their 4-song 12" EP on Loveletter. The CD contains both EPs and has different cover art than the 12". Soon after, they were forced to change their name to PLEASURE FOREVER, due to another band already being called SLAVES.
