Hrishikesh Hirway is the voice behind the THE ONE AM RADIO, delivering three delicate materpieces on this, the follow up to his split singles with Ted Leo and Jerome's Dream. The single features two original songs and a cover of "Sports Car" by THE WEDDING PRESENT. Recorded in Hrishi's bedroom studio and incorporating guitar, cello, violin, piano, and drums, these new songs are melancholy and earnest gems in the tradition of songwriters from NICK DRAKE to CHET BAKER.
